Experience counted in the 2008 election, because the voters of White County chose Dixie Geisler to run the Treasurer’s office for her third term! Dixie will be the first to admit that new technology has changed office procedures a great deal since her first term in 1993, but she has met these challenges head on while continuing to keep the office running smoothly. While running for office is a lot of fun, getting our and meeting taxpayers, hearing their concerns is important to Dixie. She does not take lightly the responsibility and trust the voters have placed in her. Her professional philosophy is a promise to make sure all questions are answered to the best of her ability in a respectful manner and that she will be held accountable to the taxpayers.
